Darren McLean
Born into a family of singers, Darren not surprisingly began singing as a youngster at his home on the Isle of Skye. By the age of five he had won his first competition and soon the trophies and medals came thick and fast. After studying for a degree in music, Darren toured Scotland and Europe with the group, ‘Sperin’. He has won several musical competitions including the coveted Mod Gold Medal and has sung at major festivals and concerts. Darren is bi-lingual, singing in both English and the ancient celtic language Gaelic. He is a keen soccer fan and is studying a media course the The Gaelic College in Skye.
