Maureen McMullan
A 27-year-old singer-songwriter from Scotland, Maureen was raised from an early age on a diet of Country music, thanks to her father’s record collection. After completing a degree in Music in Scotland, she studied at the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. She sings in a range of vocal styles: Classical, Musical Theatre, Jazz to Contemporary and has performed at many of the major music festivals in Scotland and recently at both the 41st and 42nd Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland for Al Jarreau and Patti Austin. Maureen auditioned to take part in Highland Heartbeat and is delighted to be chosen. Her big love in life is music!”
