Rachel Oates
Rachel Oates at 18 years of age has just finished school and is now fulfilling her dream to be a professional performer as part of the 'Highland Heartbeat' production. After making her TV debut at 6 years of age for CBBC she got the performing bug and in July 2010 performed with the Scottish School of Musical Theatre in Billy Elliot (BYT) Gala at the Victoria Palace London in the part of Billy's dead mum, she also recently recorded the soundtrack for the HMIE Curriculum for Excellence DVD which will be shown nationwide. Over the years Motherwell girl Rachel has performed in shows and concerts throughout Scotland.
