Highland Heartbeat: Belonging has a cast of outstanding singers and musicians, the award winning Inverclyde Junior Choir, fine young pipers and thrilling dancers - and Scotland’s magnificent landscape provides a spectacular backdrop! The concert was elegantly staged and filmed in front of a full house at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, Scotland, to a hugely enthusiastic audience. Familiar songs include “Bridge over Troubled Water”, wonderfully performed by Jillian, the beautiful piece “My Hearts In The Highlands” superbly sung by Maureen and the internationally renowned “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)” which Jim and Darren bring the house down with! Fiona sings one of the bonus tracks “The Skyline of Skye”, filmed at the mystical and magical Eilean Donan Castle in the western highlands of Scotland. You can also enjoy watching three exciting young pipers TNT (The New Tradition) and the talented Inverclyde Junior Choir’s moving performance of “Hushabye Mountain”. All this, alongside fascinating personal interviews with each cast member and their full biographies, and you have a wonderfully entertaining DVD.
